Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando, FL, is celebrating a huge milestone in 2021. Opening on September 9, the NBCUniversal-owned theme park has celebrated its 30th season of scares, screams, and terror by bringing many people's worst nightmares to life.
Universal Studios Orlando has brought some of the scariest television and film franchises to life this Halloween season. To up the thrills and chills, park-goers can walk through a whopping ten (10) haunted houses themed to Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House, Beetlejuice, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Halloween Horror Nights also offer two (2) live shows, five (5) scare zones, shopping, and dining throughout the park for those less inclined to hit the haunted houses. Halloween Horror Nights also have popular rides open late at night like The Mummy, Transformers, Men in Black, and Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts.
Halloween Horror Nights Season 30 runs select nights until October 31, 2021, at Universal Studios Florida. Click here for more event info and to purchase tickets to Halloween Horror Nights.
If monsters and demons don't faze park goers, maybe four (4) fast and ferocious dinosaurs from the Jurassic World universe are more their speed. VelociCoaster is in the Jurassic Park area of the Islands of Adventure Park.
“The ride was exhilarating. I had never felt as thrilled as I was while riding the VelociCoaster. I can’t wait until the next time I can ride it again. It’s the best roller coaster I’ve ever been on, 1000%,” says Maria Nicole.
Opened in June 2021, VelociCoaster is a rollercoaster not to be missed by ride enthusiasts or Jurassic World fans.
Speeding through the jungle, rising high above the terrain, it’s the apex predator of roller coasters: the Jurassic World VelociCoaster. Now you can board your vehicle for a high-speed dash through the park’s raptor paddock. Feel the rush of the hunt as you race alongside these nimble predators, twisting and soaring above the land and water.
Speaking on the coaster 140-foot drop and a max speed of 70 mph, Maria Nicole states, “I just want to thank my lucky stars for some strong eyelash glue because the lashes stayed on the whole time."
There are TONS of thrills and chills happening at Universal Studios Florida this Halloween season; you don't want to miss a thing!
